National Institute of Siddha BSMS Admission Process

• Eligibility: The candidate must have passed the 12th examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as compulsory subjects with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. The minimum age requirement for candidates is 17 years old.
• Entrance Exams: Candidates must qualify for NEET UG to be considered for admission to BSMS based on merit.
• Application Process: To secure their chances of being considered for admission to BAMS based on merit, candidates who have applied for NEET and meet the eligibility criteria must actively participate in the registration process for either all-India counselling or state counselling. On the basis of the score and rank, three rounds of counselling are often held. Admission to the BSMS degree programme at a number of ayurveda colleges in India is determined by the BSMS minimum score requirement. The candidate selected will be informed of a forthcoming interview.
• Personal Interview: A personal interview is scheduled for those who qualified for the entrance exam. The interview assesses the candidate’s aptitude, communication skills, and interest in Ayurveda and the BSMS programme.
• Document Required: Applicants for the BSMS programme are required to submit several documents as part of the application process, including their NEET UG admit card, application form, and 10+2 pass certificate. They must also provide 10+2 mark sheets, passport-size photographs, domicile certificate (if applicable), birth certificate, identity proof, and caste certificate (if applicable) to complete their application.
• Fee Payment: Short-listed candidates are expected to pay the institution’s determined fees after document verification to confirm admission.

National Institute of Siddha MD Admission Process

• Eligibility: The candidates must have completed their Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BSMS) or an equivalent degree from a recognised institution with a minimum aggregate score of 50% for eligibility.
• Entrance Exams: For merit-based admission, the candidate’s academic standing and entrance exam results are taken into consideration to establish their eligibility for the course. Candidates should have qualified the NEET PG or AIAPGET (All India AYUSH Post Graduate Entrance Test)
• Application Process: Candidates who are eligible must register for counselling, either for state- or all-India counselling. According to the score and rank, three rounds of counselling sessions are often done. The MD ayurveda cut-off score determines admission to the MD ayurveda programme at many ayurvedic colleges in India. A scheduled interview will be conducted to the selected applicant.
• Personal Interview: Those who passed the entrance test are asked to come in for a personal interview. The candidate’s aptitude, knowledge, experience, and interest in Ayurveda and the MD programme are evaluated during the interview.
• Document Required: The following documents must be submitted as part of the MD Ayurveda programme’s application process: Entrance exam admit card, Application form, Passport-size photographs, Educational certificates and mark sheets (BSMS degree and undergraduate transcripts), Experience certificates (if applicable), birth certificate, identity proof, and caste certificate (if applicable).
• Fee Payment: After document verification, candidates who have been shortlisted must pay the institution’s decided fees in order to be admitted.
