BDS Admission Criteria:

• Eligibility: The candidate must have passed the 12th examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as compulsory subjects with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Other Backward Classes (OBC) must achieve a minimum score of 40% on their qualifying examinations. The minimum age requirement for candidates is 17 years old.
• Entrance Exams: For merit-based Admission to the BDS is determined by a combination of the candidate’s academic performance and their performance in the entrance exam. Candidates must have passed the NEET UG.
• Application Process: The qualified candidate is required to submit an application for counselling, either all-India counselling or state counselling. According to the score and rank, counselling sessions are typically held in three rounds. The BDS cut-off is needed to determine the students’ merit for admission to the BDS degree programme at various dental colleges in India. The selected candidate will be notified for an interview.
• Personal Interview: Candidates who have qualified for the entrance exam are called for a personal interview. The interview assesses the candidate’s communication skills, motivation, general knowledge, and overall suitability for the BDS programme.
• Document Required: The following documents must be submitted as part of the BDS programme’s application process: NEET Admit card, Application form, 10th pass certificate, 12th pass certificate, 10th mark sheets, 12th mark sheets, transfer certificate, Birth certificate, identity proof, Caste certificate (if applicable).
• Fee Payment: Shortlisted candidates must pay the institution’s fees after document verification.

MDS Admission Criteria:

• Eligibility: The candidate must have completed their BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) degree from a recognised dental college or university with a minimum aggregate score of 50% to 55% for eligibility. One year of compulsory work in a medical college or in any other approved hospital before becoming qualified to practise as an independent doctor or dentist.
• Entrance Exams: The authorities assess academic performance and entrance exam results for merit-based selection. NEET MDS qualification is mandatory for admission.
• Application Process: The qualified candidate is required to submit an application for counselling, either all-India counselling or state counselling. According to the score and rank, counselling sessions are typically held in three rounds. At the end of the NEET MDS counselling session, one round will be conducted to fill a stray vacancy. The MDS cut-off is needed to determine the students’ merit for admission to the MDS programme at various dental colleges in India. The selected candidate will be notified for an interview.
• Personal Interview: Candidates who have qualified for the entrance exam are called for a personal interview. The interview assesses the candidate’s clinical knowledge, research aptitude, and overall suitability for the MDS programme.
• Document Required: The following documents must be submitted as part of the MDS programme’s application process: Admit card, Application form, BDS degree certificate, Internship completion certificate, registration certificate, transfer certificate, birth certificate, identity proof, and caste certificate (if applicable).
• Fee Payment: Following document verification to confirm admission, the shortlisted candidate should pay the fees decided by the institution.
